Do you want to buy a tablet? Waiting for new ones to hit the market? Here we have the updates from the tech world about the three tablets, the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, the new Nexus 7 from Google and an expected Nokia Lumia tablet. Read on:
Samsung launches Galaxy Tab 3
Last week Samsung launched the third generation tablet series Galaxy Tab 3. The three devices launched in India are Galaxy Tab-3 211 (7-inch screen, 3G version, Rs 17,745), Galaxy Tab-3 311 (8-inch screen, WiFi version, Rs 21,945) and Galaxy Tab-3 310 (8-inch, 3G version, Rs 25,725). The10.1-inch Galaxy Tab-3 is yet to be launched in India.

New Google Nexus 7 coming
You know that Google’s Nexus 7 is the most popular Android tablet sold worldwide last year. Google is coming with the next version of Nexus 7 and the launch is likely to happen at Google’s July 24th event. The Android OS update, Jelly Bean 4.3, is also expected to launch on the same day. Leaked images show the new Nexus device runs on Jelly Bean 4.3. The tablet will feature a 1.2 MP front-facing camera and 5 MP rear-facing camera.

It may take a while for this device to come to India. The older Nexus 7 is available on Google’s Play Store.

Nokia is coming with a Lumia tablet?
Recently, Nokia made big news with the launch of the Lumia 1020 smartphone, which features a 41-megapixel camera.

While there were speculations about a tablet from Nokia, the Finnish mobile company has come with a 4.7-inch phablet, the Lumia 625. Details are here
