20,000 Xiaomi Mi 3 were sold out in 2.4 seconds
The 4th flash sale of Xiaomi Mi 3 started at 2pm on Flipkart.com today and to nobody’s surprise it is sold out again. 20,000 units were available in today’s sale as we had reported yesterday.
20,000 units of Xiaomi Mi 3 were sold out in flat 2.4 seconds as claimed by Mi India on their Facebook page. Today reportedly many people bought the phone after failing multiple times in the previous sales. As a matter of fact, my friend who had failed last week was able to purchase it today. But in the end, thousands of people are still disappointed as more than 1 lakh people had registered to get their hands on this device.
As Xiaomi has suggested, they are trying to bring in more no. of units every week, so we would predict 25,000 units to be available for the 5th flash sale which will take place on August 19 at same time & same place.
Registration for the 5th flash sale on August 19 will start today at 6pm. So people disappointed of not able to buy the Xiaomi Mi 3 today and also new people thinking of buying it on the next sale should head over here to register for the next sale.
Xiaomi has sold around 55,000 units of Mi 3 in India so far and we expect each flash sale to be a sell out for the next 2 months atleast.
